Inner Beauty was born from my personal journey through breast cancer—a journey that not only tested me physically, but also revealed a deep emotional and systemic gap in post-mastectomy care.
As a physician—an anaesthesiologist who had provided anesthesia for many mastectomies—I believed I understood the physical impact of the surgery. But nothing prepared me for the emotional and psychological reality of losing a part of my own body.
The experience of a mastectomy is, in many ways, like an amputation—just invisible to the outside world. Yet the solutions for this loss are often treated as optional or cosmetic, when in reality, they are essential for restoring balance, comfort, and confidence.
After moving to Canada, I met many women still living with the long-term effects of breast asymmetry, even years after treatment. This led me to become a certified mastectomy fitter and build a business rooted in compassion, expertise, and dignity.
Now, I am bringing that same care back to India—through a model designed to make support more accessible, private, and convenient.
