My Story
Inner Beauty was born from my personal journey through breast cancer; a journey that not only tested me physically but also revealed a deep emotional and systemic gap in post-mastectomy care.
As a physician and anaesthesiologist who had cared for countless women undergoing mastectomy, I believed I understood the physical impact of the surgery. But nothing prepared me for the emotional and psychological reality of losing a part of my own body.
The experience of a mastectomy is, in many ways, like an amputation — an invisible loss that others cannot always see. Yet the solutions that help restore balance, comfort, and confidence are often misunderstood as optional or purely cosmetic, when they are an essential part of recovery for many women, physically and emotionally
After moving to Canada, I saw how professional mastectomy fitting and personalized guidance could help women regain confidence and return to everyday life with greater comfort. Inspired by their journeys, I became a Certified Mastectomy Fitter and built a practice rooted in compassion, expertise, and dignity.
Today, I am bringing that same standard of care back to India through Inner Beauty, helping women access expert post-mastectomy support with privacy, dignity, and the personalized guidance they deserve.
